A Three Stage Mountain Bike Race in Central Virginia.
Saturday September 26th and Sunday September 27th, 2009
Stage One
9:30 am Time Trial at the Blue Ridge School in St. George, Virginia
At 30 second intervals riders will tackle the course, a mostly uphill time trial on single
track through mountainous, old growth forest is sure to please the seasoned rider and challenge everyones ability.
Course will be open for pre-riding from 8:00 until 9:15 day of the event.

Stage Two
2:30pm Short Course Cross Country. at the Tevendale Farm in Earlysville, Virginia.
Riders will challenge each other on short track styled loop of fast single and double track.
Sunday, September 27th
Stage Three:
9:30 am Cross Country, The Tevendale Trails will host a 6 mile XC event. Fast hardpack, tight singletrack, and rocks and roots will make this a fun course or all.

Competitors will accumulate times from the three events to decide the CORO 2009 Champions.
All events are held on private land in the Charlottesville area, as such, the courses are only available for riding at designated times.


Prizes for the omnium will be awarded 3 deep in all categories.

Categories will be combined to acheive competitive numbers in fields if necessary.
Registration for the Omnium is $20 Dollars and includes one, two, or all of the events. High School and younger race for $10. If there are enough kids younger than High School interested in racing, we will form a junior category. ANY JUNIOR CATEGORY FORMED IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR POINTS IN THE VIRGINIA OFF ROAD SERIES (they don't have a junior category).
The High School Beginner and High School Sport categories will have placings within their own fields for the CORO but will be combined with the other sport and beginner fields for he VORS.

Inclement weather-
Races at the BRS and Tevendale Farm will run rain or shine.
Camping will be available on Sat. Night at the TevenTrails for those particiapting in the race weekend.
Additionally there are numerous hotels in the area.
